The SS War Baron (1917-1918) was a colossal British steamer and cargo ship, weighing in at 6,240 tons. On voyage from Southampton, she was torpedoed by German submarine U-55, approximately 8 miles NE of Godrevy lighthouse. She now sits at 55m on the seabed.
