Diving in the Indian Ocean
The third-largest ocean in the world, the Indian Ocean, is surrounded by Asia, Africa, and Australia, and covers around ⅕ of the world’s total ocean extension. Diving in its warm waters can be an adventure itself, with super-sized species that swim its waters, such as blue whales, great white sharks, Hawksbill Sea Turtle, Humpback and Orca Whales. You will also find the smallest of the seahorses in the area. The Maldives, are one of the world’s most famous diving destinations. The best months to travel are from December to March, when you will find the highest visibility, allowing you to see even the smallest of the species.
