Lake Edon
SS Lake Edon (1918-1918) was an American cargo ship, loaded with coal and on voyage from Barry, Wales. She was torpedoed by German submarine U-107, 4 miles NE of Towan Headland, Newquay. 18 men were lost. The wreck now sits at 35m-40m.
