Diving in Grevelingen

Grevelingen is a protected former estuary located on the northeast side of Zeeland and has the distinction of being the largest saltwater lake in all of Europe. It was created in 1971 when the Delta Works project built the Brouwersdam. Unlike Oosterschelde there are no tides so it is a much easier dive and you can do it whenever you would like. There are a few specific, well-known diving spots in Grevelingen that are recommended, such as Het Koepeltje, Scharendijke, Dreischor Gemaal, and Kerkweg Den Osse.
