TGL-ranta/Kaukajärvi

TGL beach above old Kangasalantie just after Tamglass is an easy dive site. You can dive to 18m. The site is easy to reach from the sandy beach.

Iso-Tiilijärvi

The dive site in the lake Tiilijärvi is about 15 minutes drive from the center of Lahti. You should leave your car in the parking area at the top of the beach.Do not drive to the beach, as this area is a recreation area for walkers, cyclists.

A popular destination near the bridge, which is the second longes bridge in Finland after the Raippaloto bridge. A rocky, steep beach with visibility typical of Päijänte.

Kiskon Avolouhos

The Kisko open pit is located in Salo, about a 1.5-hour drive from Helsinki. The rail is a great place to practice ice diving and we will use this of course if you need to do exercises on the 18m deeper side, but don’t really need any mega deep.

Kaatialan Luohos

The Kaatatiala quarry is located in Kuortane Lentilä, near the border of Alavus and Kuortane. In 1942-1968, feldspar and quartz were taken from the open pit. According to Kaatiala, the first Kaatiaite mineral found in the world was named in the quarry.

Korven Louhos

This dive site is a quarry in the middle of a production area with access only through partners of the quarry like local clubs and dive centers. Access is only allowed on weekends, outside working hours! There is a locked boom when it is closed. The max depth is less than 30m.

Järppilä quarry is a disused granite quarry. The open pit in question has been filled with water and is a popular diving destination where diving is allowed. The site is behind a locked boom and local diving clubs and organizations have the keys to it.
