Aquarium

On the East-northeast side about 20 mins from the main dive centers, this dive site consists of 3 reefs, shoreline, the middle reef, and an outer reef running parallel to the middle reef. A very scenic route with overhangs, caverns, and smaller caves make this a wonderful dive site.

Blackish Point

Given it’s name because of a large population of a Black Groupers that used to hang around in this area, sadly no longer here. It is situated about 45 minutes form the main hub.

Big Bight

Located 10 minutes East from the main Utila Harbor, you will find Big Bight. This dive site can be identified from the surface by noticing a beach covered with Larger washed up pieces of coral.The beach itself is protected on either end by sharp lava rocks with jagged edges and steep walls coming out of the water.

Honeycomb Caves

This is a great shore dive. Rough, rocky entry with some surge to contend with. Once in, the dive is full of vibrant coral and sea fans. Max depth is about 18 meters.

Red Cliff

Red Cliffs is another super dive off of the Southern side (southeastern) end of Utila Island in Honduras. A wall of red hard and soft corals gives the sight its name and this is a very popular site also because it is so quickly and easily reached by boat.

Rocky Point

Rocky Point is a sloping wall that turns more shear as you proceed east along the wall. Depths in excess of 40 meters are possible. A great site for Extended Range training. Also a nice dive to drift toward the west.

Ted’s Point is a popular south-side dive site offering a sandy bottom at about 60ft. The east slopping wall has depths to over 100 ft. The western side is shallower at 60ft.

Linda's Wall

Linda’s Wall is a south-side dive site, not as well know as other dives. The wall here is beautiful and covered with a spectacular rainbow of hard and soft corals. Easy access makes this a great site to visit.

Airport Caves

The Airport Caves dive site is located about 10 to 15 minutes from the main dock on Utila. It is located on the east side of the Island in front of what used to the old airstrip.

The Halliburton (Wreck)

The Halliburton Shipwreck sunk on purpose in 1998. It was a cargo ship intentionally prepared to create an artificial reef for divers. The deck of the ship is at 20m and the top of the bridge is at 18m. The length of the ship from bow to stern is 30m.
