Shetani / Three Turtles

This site is a small wall descending from 5 meters to 18 meters maximum. There are pinnacles of coral, both hard and soft, with many small coral fish in amazing shades of color.

Mwana Wa Mwana is a favorite local dive site. Depth ranges from 2m to 15m. The name of this site means baby of the baby in Swahili. Mwana wa Mwana is a small island north of Tumbatu; in low tide, the two islands are connected by a sandbank.

Nankivell

Depth at this site is between 6m and 16m. Another patch reef, this is a more concentrated area than Hunga. It generally has excellent visibility and is a pleasure to dive while exploring the reefs of Zanzibar.

This dive site is in the middle of the ocean and is a drift dive. You will find some pinnacle with sponges and hard coral. It is a tidal dive so make sure you make this dive when it is low tide.

Renco Bomi is a large coral bomi structure, the top of the reef is at a depth of around 5m and drops down 16m. While this reef has sustained some damage from local fishers, there are quite a variety of corals and fish.

Levenbank is a deep dive and is best for advanced divers. It is in the middle of the Indian ocean with a maximum depth of 35 m. You will dive from the deep area to the shallow area where a pinnacle can be found covered in hard and soft/sponge coral.

A sloping reef running parallel to the northeast coast from 10 meters. A big variety of hard and soft coral with a big section of plate coral. The visibility is almost always good.
