Diving in Trincomalee

The area off the coast of Trincomalee features no less than 20 great dive sites for divers of all experience levels to enjoy, offering some of the best scuba diving in Sri Lanka. They range in depth from five to 35 meters (16-115ft) and have sites of every depth in between. There is a wide array of shipwrecks and coral reefs to discover and the wealth of marine life just below the surface makes it a popular destination for scuba diver and snorkelers alike. Swami Rock and Sardine Tooth are two of the more well-known dive sites in the region.
