Large wreck between Groix and Port Manech on a 40m bottom.Laid on a bottom of a mixture of sand and mud, visibility is often average. The wreck is collapsed in its middle.Ariadne’s thread recommended because of the current to go back up the line and make the stops in good conditions

A few cables from Groix, “The submarine“, as it is often called in the region, lies at 38m at the edge of plates and rock blocks whose echo disrupts the reading of the sounder. We can easily see the rise of 7m of the kiosk.Random visibility and current.

Epave du Nann Smith

In 240, 3.3 nautical miles from the Port de Portivy, lies the Nann Smith, a Norwegian cargo ship carrying iron ore, at a depth of 24m. She sank in 1917, hit by a floating mine. Lying on the seabed, the boilers rise 4 to 5m and the ship’s structure is still clearly visible.
