Ukibaru North

It is located a few hundred meters north of the floating island. This area has a sandy bottom with many fine fan corals. The maximum depth is 16 meters and the average depth is 10-15 meters.

Yokohishi

Yokohishi, located in Uruma City, Okinawa, is the site where you can see the largest common shikoro coral (commonly known as mussel coral) on the main island of Okinawa. It is much smaller than it used to be, but it is still worth seeing. Following the sandy passage there, you will find a series of two roots with huge isobana, which is really photogenic. The maximum depth is around 22 meters. The current can be quite strong during high tide.

Aosango

This is a world-class heritage area known for its “Blue Coral.“ You won’t find anything bigger like it anywhere else in the world – it’s about twice the size of a tennis court, at the very least! The site is surrounded by a diverse array of hard corals. It’s one of the finest dive sites on the East coast of Okinawa’s main island, offering depths ranging from 12 to 5 meters. The average visibility is over 30 meters, making it an exceptional diving experience.

At the southern tip of Ukihara Island, just beyond the break, lies a coral-rich area with multiple swim-throughs. Depths range from 10–20m on average, with a maximum exceeding 30m, offering both scenic shallows and deeper exploration for divers of varying experience levels.

South to South

South to South, located south of Ukihara Minami Island, is just outside the Uruma Barrier Reef. At this dive site, you can see some of the largest Ryukyu cabbage corals found in the area. Because it is just outside the barrier reef, the maximum depth is 30 meters.

Miyagi Channel

Miyagi Channel, four minutes east of Tobara Port, is a deep cut between Miyagi and Heianza Islands. The mooring is at 8m, but depths over 30m are easily reached. Visibility is typically 20–30m and can be even better in favorable conditions, making it a clear-water site for experienced divers.

Hamahika Beach, located on Hamahika Island in Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture, is a man-made beach with white sand and clear, shallow waters, and is a popular point for families. A variety of marine activities such as diving, snorkeling, banana boating, and flyboarding can be enjoyed in the vicinity. In particular, the Flower Garden, a 15-minute boat ride from Muluk Beach, is a great place for beginners to observe beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish up close.
