Aneris means “Mermaid backwards.“ It’s the name of a European citizen science project led by the Institute of Marine Sciences, with which the diving center collaborates.

This site is accessed from Cala de Sant Jordi or by boat. The maximum depth is 15 meters. Posidonia meadows and large stone blocks cover the bottom. This site is for advanced divers.

Rock bars perpendicular to the coast with life-filled holes surrounded by Posidonia. Lots of fish! The maximum depth is 17 m, with an average depth of 15.5 m.

Entering from Cala Vidre. Follow the wall to the right of the crick. Maximum depth of 7 meters, perfect for beginners. Posidonia, rock, tunnels, and fine sand bottom. Good visibility.

Punta Galera is a 10 meter long tunnel with wide entrance and exit that allow sunlight to penetrate. Perfect for looking for nocturnal fauna that lives in darkness.

K2 is a dive site at a depth of 16m. It’s a beginner-level dive site. It features a rock bar in the middle of a large meadow of Posidonia oceanica.

Andrea was a fishing boat that could no longer be used. The owner cleaned it and sank it in the area known as the “Ship Cemetery.“ The Andrea wreck is 27 meters deep, surrounded by a muddy-sandy bottom and by small stone cliffs. A very calm dive. Enter the water directly from the harbour of Port de l’Estany. There is a partially collapsed tunnel area through which divers pass in line, very suitable for courses with reduced visibility or perfect buoyancy. Maximum depth is 7 meters.

Cimodocea is a great dive for beginners and especially for open water training dives and practicing perfect buoyancy control.
