Maaya Thila, North Ari Atoll

Once this dive site was on the top 10 best in the world. Due to this rating many divers dived this site and specially at night. The damage on the top of this Thila (diver error) is bad, but as from 12m acceptable. At night many giant trevally and some white tips hunting.

Kuramathi Caves

These caverns are located on the western side of the atoll past the Kuramathi Resort sandbank. There are many large overhangs here, but also two caverns through which divers can swim (one at 18-20 meters, the other at 28-30 meters).

A cargo vessel which was sunk close to the resort Halaveli. It sits upright only 20 meters away from the reef - the deck at 21 meters, the bottom is on sand at 28 meters. Due to its depth deeep dive training or Advanced Diving certification as well as Nitrox are highly recommended.
