Casa del Mundo

Lake Atitlan is beautiful! This boat access dive location is deep and clear. Small fresh-water reefs are scattered alone the steep cliffs. The most unique part of this dive is being able to put your hand in the sandy bottom at the base of the volcano and feel the heat!

Water Hotel is a unique dive site on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. This lake is one of the most scenic lakes in the World. This dive site has a shallow over-head enviroment where you can pretend to be sitting at a bar.

Raggedy Cay

Raggedy Cay is a small island off the west end of Utila. There is a flat bottom at about 6 meters under the boat and then, once you reach the wall, it gradually drops off to about 40 meters. This is a wall dive, but tougher to navigate since the mooring is far off the wall.

Diamond Cay

This site shares it’s name with the small cay protruding out of the water nearby. Drift dive off a narrow coral formation between two sand channels that are wide sand patches to the west (30ft/10m), and end at the top of the reef wall towards the east.

Stingray Point

Head out across the sand to the wall on the other side. Follow it for about 15 minutes and at 18 meters you’ll find a large crack in the rock. It’s about 1.5-2.0 meters wide and about 100 meters long. Perfect turnaround point for your dive.

Two minutes due East of the Utopia Resort Dock. Dive site is a wall/drop off with maximum depth averaging 29m. Buoy is present for dive boats, great location for drift diving as well.

Great location to get out of the winds and waves when blowing from south east. Just around the corner on the north side it has gentle sloping wall and vibrant soft corals. Easy dive for all levels and generally little or no current.

A very popular site with both divers and students, A large sandy patch running from 15ft all the way to 130ft. A beautiful wall dive for all with lots to see.

Spotted Bay

Spotted Bay is a shallower northside dive. The reef is moored in a shallower sandy area but leads out to a less defined wall than other sites at Turtle Harbor. There is a second wall further out but you have to swim further from the main wall.

Approx. 20 minutes heading West of the Main Utila Harbor, you will find Madeline’s. This dive site is west of Jack Neil Beach site and is identified by the beautiful shallow white sand areas and a gently sloping sandy bottom.
