The mine is located in the North of Italy, near Milano, close to Lecco: MoM, Mine of Olgiate Molgora/Miniera di Olgiate Molgora, Mother of Mines and home of the Minautor.We are right in the center, the pulsing heart, of Europe with also 3 international airports nearby.

The entry point (the beach) can be reached via a short staircase, located on the opposite side of the road from the Rapa Nui bar car park. The dive, almost entirely with lines, includes numerous “artificial finds“: bells, boats, ape cars with minibikes, Playmobil, Minions, etc.

Possible wall dive with high depths of over 50 meters. At various depths it is possible to find wrecks of different cars from which the name of the place comes called “Le macchine“

Beach accessible from the car park located 200 meters after the Motel Nautilus. Sloping bottom. Divetime scuba club training platform. Sailing to the left you come across a “small wall“ at a depth of 30 meters.

Just 10 minutes from the center of Lugano is the home of our club, called Pesce Sole Sub. Once you step inside, the water entry is just a few meters away, and the view of the Gulf of Lugano and Mount San Salvatore is breathtaking. The dive site is suitable for all levels.

Swimming pool ideal for recreational diving courses, ample parking available free of charge. Clean and cozy locker rooms, courteous at the front desk.

The dive is straightforward: to the north we have some sunken trees that serve as dens for numerous fish; be careful when crossing the bay due to presence in summer time of vessels.

Coming down the slope that lines Villa Crespi, we arrive at Ortello. We find ourselves in a small area with access to the lake and a small limited parking lot; on the right we find a very small private marina. The dive proceeds to the left.

Easy dive entering from shore. First part of dive with possibility a few meters away to encounter reed beds with lots of marine life. For advanced divers, continuing to the left, flanking the Approdo hotel, leads to a series of boulders.

Dive suitable for all divers, from recreational to technical. Difficult to reach the lake from the road. Descend by walking down a path or by leaning against the diving center in Orta.
