This site is a shallow and narrow channel with great coral life with a few coral blocks that act as cleaning stations for fish and larger marine animals.

Grouper Cave

This small Giri lies to the west of Medhufushi. The sandy plateau at 10 - 14 m is covered in coral formations; also there are huge overhangs full of soft corals, reaching down from 15 - 33 m. As the Giri is very protected, this dive site is suitable for all diving levels.

Hakura Giri

This Giri lies very protected in the inner atoll, north of Hakura Island, and therefore is usually free of currents. On the northwest side, the drop-off falls to 30 m.

Triple Rock

Triple Rock consists of 3 small Giris to the west of Medhufushi. At around 10 m deep, there are overhangs that reach over to the east. On the middle Giri we find soft corals and giant clams. On the southwest side, there is a plateau with large coral formations at 15 m. Marco photographers will be delighted.

An easy dive site, this Giri west of Medhufushi is free of currents. It´s known for the unbelievable beauty of the coral garden at 15 - 25 m, displaying soft, leather, and fan corals, as well as a big selection of sponges.

Rayvilla (Wreck)

This dive site is a wreck to the west of Meemu Atoll. The wooden wreck of a transportation dhoni rests on the south side of the Giri at 20 - 33 m deep. It is approx. 30 m long and sank in 1979. It is easy to dive inside. The Giri is adorned with interesting overhangs and many small caves and caverns.

A beautiful thila (pinnacle) to the west of Medhufushi Island. On the south side of the thila at 15 - 25 meters, there is a stunning display of soft coral. The dive site is remarkable due to a large number of beautifully adorned overhangs.

1000 Rocks

1000 Rocks is located within the marine nature reserve. The entry is north of the Faru. The sandy plateau falls from 5-15 meters and is sprinkled with lovely coral formations. From a depth of 18m onwards, there are large caverns beautifully decorated with many types of soft corals.

The Big Cave

The Big Cave is along Faru in the inner Atoll and is part of the Maldivian Marine Park. The dive leads through an endless cavern, which is about 10 m high and 15-30 m deep. Its inside is laced with soft corals, gorgonians, and assorted anemones.

“Turtle Bay“ is the closest reef. This dive spot is just at the beginning of the inside atoll and the navigation is very easy. The reef goes down from 5 - 40 m and has a lot of overhangs.
