This is a popular diving spot on Kume Island along with Tombara. It is located on the north side of the island and is only a 5-minute boat ride from the harbor.

This is one of the most popular spots in Kume Island. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Kumejima by flight from the main island of Okinawa. About 20 to 30 minutes from the harbor, we dive around a large, rugged rock that rises 2 kilometers off the southeast coast of the island. It is a spot where the tide is good and the chance of encountering big fish is high. It is famous as a point where hammerhead sharks migrate in winter. Diving style is drift diving. You can also see humpback whales up close from winter to spring.

Umagai on Kume Island, Okinawa, features a dramatic drop-off from shallow to deep, attracting topography lovers. Schools of parrotfish and hanagoi brighten the scene, with occasional manta encounters. Clear waters and striking fish silhouettes make it a great spot for underwater photography.

Aguni Island is located about 60 km northwest of Naha City. It takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes to get there by ferry. You can also go boat diving from the main island of Okinawa. Fudenzaki is one of the most popular diving spots in Awakuni Island.

Gina on Aka Island, Okinawa, offers depths to 18m with calm currents, ideal for all levels. Green turtles are common, and manta rays may appear in summer. Coral shelves and schools of goatfish, blue tangs, and sparrowhawks create a vibrant underwater scene.

Nita Cave on Zamami Island is a topography site with intricate caves, tunnels, and light-filled scenery. Home to schools of longnose hawkfish, it offers both marine life and dramatic views. Ideal for intermediate divers, with highlights like light curtains and blue cave formations.

Shimosone is the hidden root of the complete open sea that goes to the south where there is no island shadow from Kuba Island. The diving style is basically drift diving. The tide is strong and the up and down currents occur, making it easy to descend and ascend freely. This site is best for advanced divers who can control themselves in the current.

Butsubutsu Coral near Kabi-jima, Kerama Islands, is a calm boat dive site with white coral colonies resembling Buddha heads. With depths of 3–20m, the reef features table corals, isobana, and fish like Luris sparrowhawks and goatfish. Ideal for both beginners and experienced divers.

Aman Beach on the west side of Zamami Island is a shallow, sandy site with calm waves, perfect for beginners and families. It’s great for snorkeling and experience dives, with a high chance of seeing sea turtles. Lush coral reefs and schools of tropical fish make it a relaxing, scenic spot.

Ulunosachi on Zamami Island features a pastel coral “flower garden“ with depths up to 11m, ideal for beginners yet extending offshore for deeper exploration. Known for high sea turtle encounters, it also hosts debassa damselfish and pygmy seahorses. Diving here is guide-only.
