Limited parking, you have to go through meadow/forest on a path down to the divesite, a lot of fine sand available at the site, safety of divers is necessary.

First dive through the shallow water at the sandbank. Dive slightly to the left (heading north-east) towards the large stones. After the stones, dive against the current. Here you will find a landscape with spectacular rocks. Dive upstream against the current for about 150 m and then drift back to the rocks.

The Lake Cadagno (Cadagno Lake) is a natural reservoir in the Piora region in the municipality of Quinto in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. The Lago di Cadagno ecosystem with the Piora Variation named after the Val Piora is unique in both Switzerland and Europe and is located in the Centro di Biologia di Alpi.

Going down the stairs from the parking lot to the lake, you dive from the shore being careful where you put your feet because of slippery rocks. The shore slopes down immediately reaching 5 meters; usually the dive starts on the left to look for the remains on the 15 to 20 meters of the old landslide road and some walls.

Just 10 minutes from the center of Lugano is the home of our club, called Pesce Sole Sub. Once you step inside, the water entry is just a few meters away, and the view of the Gulf of Lugano and Mount San Salvatore is breathtaking. The dive site is suitable for all levels.

Very nice dive with plenty of fish. You arrive at Oira marina where you can park freely; the dive can be done from the right side as well as the left side.

Dive that can be challenging but suitable for all types of certification, from recreational 18 meters to technical 80 meters. In this area you come in the opening period at the passage of the ferry.

Easy dive entering from shore. First part of dive with possibility a few meters away to encounter reed beds with lots of marine life. For advanced divers, continuing to the left, flanking the Approdo hotel, leads to a series of boulders.

Dive suitable for all divers, from recreational to technical. Difficult to reach the lake from the road. Descend by walking down a path or by leaning against the diving center in Orta.

Coming down the slope that lines Villa Crespi, we arrive at Ortello. We find ourselves in a small area with access to the lake and a small limited parking lot; on the right we find a very small private marina. The dive proceeds to the left.
