Inside the bay of Makadi, in front of the the Fort Arabesque. Sheltered from the north wind, it makes it a good option to dive on rough days. Can be done as a one-way dive or as a stationary dive. gentle slope until 18m and then drop off where you can find greater depth. Suitable for beginners to advanced divers.

Inside the bay of Makadi nice mix of sea grass, artificial reef and natural reef. Easy and shallow dive, preferred by the divers on early morning or sunset dives.

Just outside the bay of Makadi, in front of the Grand Makadi hotel. Shallow sandy bottom turning into a beautiful coral garden. This is usually done as a one-way dive.

Drift dive south of Gota Abu Makadi, nice coral garden at a depth of 20 meters. Good chances of spotting turtles sleeping during the day, easy drift dive that ends at Gota Abu Makadi.

15 min by boat from Makadi bay, 5 min south of Abu Hashish lagoon. Beautiful shallow dive site full of ergs with plenty of marine life. Done as a stationary dive zig-zaging in between the ergs. Often exposed to a current, then possibility of big marine life encounter such as dolphins and eagle ray.

15 min by boat north of Makadi bay, near by the stunning abu hashisch island. Nice, protected lagoon to start the dive that leads to a stunning coral garden full of marine life. The dive is done starting from the lagoon and back inside the lagoon. Easy for divers of any level.

20 min by boat south of Makadi bay. Beautiful drop off starting from the surface to a maximum depth of 80m. Can be done either as a stationary dive or as a drift dive. One of diver’s favorite place around Makadi bay,

25 minutes boat ride north of Makadi Bay. Fringing reef along the coast. Reef slope down to 15m depth - plateau down to 22m depth. Steep slope down to about 70m depth. Often light to medium current from the north. Diving is on the outside of the steep slope into the shallow area.

Just outside the Sahl hashisch bay, 20, 25 min away from Makadi bay and hurgada. Nice shallow dive site that can be done either as a stationary dive or as a drift dive. sandy plateau that turns into a drop off and a lot of ergs full of marine life.

Down the coast, 30 min south of Makadi bay, beautiful, steep drop off full of deep ergs. Nice wall and the highlight of the dive is definitely the possibility of doing the safety stop in the cave next to where the boat parks.
