This site was recently updated with three airplane wrecks designed to look like sharks as well as “The Cathedral“ - an installation made from retired mooring lines creating a sponge adorned floating archway. This is a local favorite! Located on the south side of Great Dog Island, just off of Virgin Gorda.

Bronco Billy is located on the northwestern tip of George Dog and many believe this was one of Jacques Cousteau’s favourite diving spots in the BVI. Bronco Billy is only 12 minutes boat ride from Spanish Town on Virgin Gorda and only a few minutes more from Scrub Island. Max depth approx 55 feet/16M

The name of this dive site comes from the fact that the site is often covered ‘wall-to-wall’ in fish. This site is sometimes washed by strong currents and close attention should be paid to the dive leader. You can’t miss Yellowfish Rock at the bottom!

Flintstones is named after the huge boulders and rocks which make up this site. Bring a torch to best investigate the ledges and “hidey holes“ throughout these interesting formations.

This site was used by Jacques Cousteau for research while he was based in the BVI, and still boasts an impressive array of marine life. The steep coral and sponge covered pinnacle rises from 24m/80 feet to 5m/15 feet and has some interesting ledges and overhangs to investigate. Can be prone to current!

The Kodiak Queen, formerly US Navy fuel barge YO-44, was one of only five ships to survive Pearl Harbor! Sunk in the BVI in March 2017 she has a second lease of life; creating an artificial reef for divers, and ever increasing numbers of fish, to enjoy.

From the mooring, a wall runs eastward, dropping from 25 ft to 60 ft, with large mushroom-shaped pillar coral formations, and plenty of soft corals. Look for schools of Creole Wrasse and Blue Chromis, with the occasional large lobster and nurse shark.

A quick 2-minute boat ride from Scrub Island, this site is named as a result of a diver losing a diamond ring here about 10 years ago (never found). The reef itself is a small “wall” some 200 yards long. This site is ideal for all levels of divers and snorkelers, accessible in nearly all weather.

On the north side of Ginger Island, this site is almost always flat and calm, providing a restful location for surface intervals and second dives. A huge, healthy coral reef runs the length of the island starting at about 15 ft and falling away to the sandy bottom at about 60 ft.

Famous for it’s giant mushroom shaped Boulder Corals, Alice in Wonderland promises the advanced diver a magical experience winding through it’s deep spur and groove coral canyons.
