Recifes Artificiais Grandes

This dive site is formed by concrete structures created by IPIMAR in 2000, arranged in 4 modules about 10 to 15 meters between them. Home to several species such as sea bream, conger eel, groupers, gobies, spider crabs, morays eels, and many more.

Pedra do Nordeste

In the first part of the reef it is possible to find in the rock recesses conger and morays eels. In the second part, rubberlip grunt and red-banded seabream often appear, and different species of nudibranchs, octopuses, and velvet swimmer crabs can be observed throughout the reef.

Pedra do Alto

Pedra do Alto is a line of natural rocky reefs at a maximum depth of 18 meters in the sand and about 13 meters in the highest part of the reef. As in any other dive site, on the Algarve coast, there are the famous red scorpion fish.

Pedra do Ouro

The slab at this dive site is 27 meters deep, and its small wall is used for navigation. In the sand depth is 30 meters, with some small stones, along the wall. The reef is no more than 20 minutes from the marina.

Santa Eulalia 2

This dive site is only 200 meters from Santa Eulalia I and has similar characteristics. The fauna found here includes, in a greater quantity, grey triggerfish, conger eels, and octopuses.

Cravo Fora

A circle of stones on top of a maine stone slab at a maximum depth of 18 meters in the deepest part and 14 meters at the top of the reef. A place for all types of divers, whether Open Water or more advanced.

Sharkys Reef

Reef wall with maximum depth of 18m at the sandy area and 16m on top of the reef. Easy relaxing dive, great fun both to entry level and experience divers. Besides the nice rock formations we can find here two great anchors of the admiralty style.

Pedra do Cravo

Like snowflakes, here you will find sand and some peripheral slumps on the rock/dead coral. Small flakes of dead coral and broken coral, with lilac tones, cover the ground in large quantities.

10 minutes from Albufeira Marina, ART Reef by Vhils Park is located right next to the Santa Eulália reef. This area was considered a reserve where only recreational diving and freediving can be practiced. The park is made up of 13 pieces removed, treated and converted into art.
