This point drops off hundreds of meters deep and is renowned for frequent hammerhead sightings. The reef is in excellent health, with many huge Gorgonian Sea Fans, and is the home to schools of bumphead parrotfish, barracuda and, trevally.
In addition to frequent Hammerhead sightings, Aussie Point is known for being home to Reef Sharks, Green and Hawksbill Turtles, Mobula and Eagle Rays as well as a many pelagic fish.
