Meedhupparu House Reef

DivePoint MEP makes here the night dives and sometimes also Current Specialty Dives. The reef goes down from 3-4m to 30m. Some nice Blocks a bit higher are full of clownfish and in the night you will find often a lot of lobsters and shrimps. But its not always possible to dive here. The current can be extreme!!

under the jetty full of fish, in the reef different type of moray eels and a nice variation of shrimps and lobsters give you a really interesting night dive.

Great drift dive over several large blocks and small thilas. Due to distances of 80m and currents more demanding and for experienced divers or divers willing to learn. Nice overhangs and arches in the deeper area, Deep / Nitrox has the best combination. Depending on the current, you can go diving on the house reef

Drift dive with the current flowing from the western tip of Kinohlas along the north side towards the small Thila. Lots of fish on the top of the reef, some really nice little overhangs deeper. Experienced divers dive to the thila, beginners stay over the overhangs and slowly ascend the Sandy Slope

Simple but beautiful dive that starts slowly at 5m in a bay and then dives at 15-20m on the right shoulder with a current from west to east. Some small holes in the wall. A small reef with many different types of colorful coral. The reef roof is at a height of 6m and has a diameter of approx. 20m, at a depth of 25m it should be approx. 50m. On the west side an overhang with soft corals, further deeper a gap with giant moray eels and cleaner shrimp.

BBT is a dive site that you can dive every day and each time you“ii find different conditions and creatures. The reef top starts at 5m, at 8 / 9m it drops down to 30m. There are some small overhangs in the western part of the Thila which are partly overgrown with soft corals.

ADT is a deep thila in front off the island of Aarah. With a current from the west, we start on the gently sloping part of the lagoon in the south-west. We drift in a deep of 22m to the first small block and from there to the thila. If the current is not too strong, the dive can be ended at the main reef

Because of its current, BKT is reserved for experienced divers or is dived in times of low current. Not far from BBT, the rock rises to a depth of 16m. The south side has a nice plateau at 25m and then drops off steeply to 40m. Cleaning station for gray reef sharks!
