
Illa Negra

Just south of Cap de Begur, sheltered from the north winds, we find a large island, made of dark rock, which is called Illa Negra. This is a simple dive, for all levels and that is always covered from the waves.
Fauna: moray eels, large schools of bream, barracuda, Forkbeard, conger eel, grouper, nudibranch; monkfish can be seen in spring and rays or Marbled electric rays buried in the sand.
