Steinbruchsee Wildschütz

The quarry lake Wildschütz is a former quarry in the village Wildschütz, located in the district Nordsachsen of the federal state Saxony. The lake, which is located in the middle of a mining area, is the deepest lake in central and northern Germany with a depth of about 74 meters.

Immediately near the diving school Delphin is another entrance at the Kulki. This is located at the campground Kulkwitzer See. Advantage, you can drive directly to the entrance after registration at the campground for loading and unloading. Afterwards, the car is parked on the designated parking lot.

Tauchbasis Florian, Kulkwitzer See

The maximum depth in the southern basin is 26 meters. The Kulki, as divers affectionately call the lake, owes its formation to the mining of lignite. The Kulki is one of the oldest opencast mining lakes in the Leipzig area and by far the most attractive. There are 2 practice platforms available for dive training.

The Riesenstein quarry lake in Meissen with a diving center. With a maximum water depth of 18 meters, the quarry lake is perfect diving water for all scuba divers. The body of water is idyllically situated in the middle of Meissen. Underwater you can expect visibility between 4 and 15 meters all year round.

The entrance to this site is easy to reach via the beach. The registration and entrance for diving are only possible via the diving center. You can park on their premises. They have changing tables, sinks, toilets, stands, and a cloakroom.
