Bommenede Polder

The spot is practically only accessible by boat. The remains of the village are little more than a pile of overgrown rubble. It may be worth diving here, but in the summer the location can be dangerous. The shipping channel and the busy pleasure boating pose a risk.

The great added value of this spot is that you can easily park on the outside of the dike, so you don’t have to walk over it! Furthermore, the spot is quite shallow and you quickly dive towards the channel where diving is prohibited.

Arendshoofd

This spot is very shallow but certainly suitable as a snorkeling location or if you feel like looking for specific life during a shallow dive. Parking is available next to the restaurant and holiday park. Please note! Deeper than 5 meters you are in the shipping channel!

Den Osse Haven

It is a 200 meter walk along the dike. Mean the left side of the breakwater otherwise you will end up in the harbor right away! The first part from the shore is quite shallow and sandy. At about 100m from the shore the bottom then goes steeply down (especially near the breakwater).

Dreischor Frans Kokrif

Just before Dreischor Gemaal is another dive site. This is enhanced by the artificial reef that was built here a few years ago. Just like at Scharendijke and Den Osse, a ribbon of reef balls have been laid here. Parking is easy and via a staircase, over the dike, you come to a riser where you can go to the water.

Kerkweg, Den Osse

Dive site Kerkweg in Den Osse is one of the most famous dive sites in Zeeland. Here you can dive from the jetty on oyster beds, an artificial reef of reefballs and many other hard substrate that is nicely overgrown. The maximum depth is about 30 metres, but you will find most life in the shallow water.

Dreischor Gemaal

This dive site is not subject to tides, so you can dive here all day long. From the stairs, you can dive both to the left and to the right. On the right is the pumping station, which is very nicely overgrown and sometimes produces attractive images for macro photographers.

De Muur

The dive site is located around the four breakwaters with the characteristic beaches in between. You can enter the water from the beaches and dive out to the ends of the breakwaters around 5 meters deep, which are beautifully overgrown. The bottom slopes down to about 15 meters. Limited parking spaces.

A bit past the pumping station so just swim or with a boat dive you will find this beautiful untouched reef. Enjoy the dive and compare the differences between 2 to 15 meters.
