The Austin Smith (Wreck)

The Austin Smith, also known as the HMBS Flamingo, was originally a 90-foot Bahamian Defense Force Cutter and was decommissioned in 1995. As it was being towed to its final resting place as an artificial reef, the Austin Smith accidentally sunk en route and now rests in 60 feet of water in the Exuma Cays.

Pillar Wall

Pillar Wall is a beautiful dive site accessible by boat. Maximum depth is over 150 feet so watch your depth gauge closely. The dive starts at 30 feet and slopes down to 50 feet before dropping off to thousands of feet deep. There are many caves and crevices to explore.

A dive of approximately 30 minutes at an average depth of 7.5 meters (maximum 10.4m) through some of the Exuma Cays. As it is in an isolated location, the support of a vessel will be necessary. To do this, it is important to observe the local tide.
