Simio Bipolar

It is a group of coral islands on a flat sandy bottom. It is very appropriate for both very beginners and for Open Water divers as depth ranges from 9 meters/30 feet to 15 meters/50 feet. Visibility is usually more than 20 meters/65 feet and the abundance of fish on the coral islands is an admirable beauty.

This site is born from the millenial growth of the coral reef, giving birth to taller walls and a wide and a narrow canyon where a shark sometimes comes to rest. Following the walls while hunting lionfish will lead you to two islands surrounded by big specimens of barrel sponges.

La Poza, Xcalak

An very nice underwater trench that makes for a beautiful wall dive. Current can a few times convert it into drift diving. The depth ranges from 5 m/15 ft to 26m/90ft. It is full of alcoves where fish hide and tower-like structures of coral at the end of the dive.

Mexico Rocks Marine Reserve is a shallow patch reef complex located off the northern tip of Ambergris Caye. The site consists of approximately 100 Holocene patch reefs and is composed predominantly of boulder corals all in very shallow water making this a great snorkel site.

Cypress Canyons is a spur-and-groove reef with deep and narrow canyons running perpendicular to the reef line. Coral spurs crest at 50-70 ft whereas the sand-floored cuts fall off rapidly to depths of 100 fl. A very cool, beautiful site.

Tuffy Canyons also known as San Pedro Canyons is located directly in front of the main channel of San Pedro Town. It has a variety of stony corals which forms a loose framework that supports a multitude of protective homes for small invertebrates such as the Brittle Star Fish, Shrimps and Crabs.
