Gamul Kebir

Short driving time of approx. 25 minutes and can be approached even in strong winds. Shallow reef (max 16m) with great lighting conditions. Apart from the channel, there is little to no current.

Many colorful fish all over the reef, squid often float in the blue water. Regular encounters with eagle rays.

Gamul Soraya

About 30 minutes from the coast by boat. The main reef extends to 14m deep. The south side goes to 20m. There is little current but due to its size, it can be a bit windy and is not always approachable when winds are strong.

With a depth of 5-40m this site has something for everyone. It is also very nice for snorkelers. Navigation to the boat can sometimes be a bit difficult because it is located in the middle of the coral garden.

The house reef found on Lotus Bay is a great shore dive. The reef can be reached directly from the beach. It drops down to a depth of 9m, making it ideal for long dives. It offers the perfect conditions for beginners and also for training dives.

The Breakers House Reef South, Soma Bay

Housereef, directly in front of the dive center, very easy to reach with shuttle and great helpful staff. A little windy and also swell belong here with changing currents.

This dive site is shallow to over 30m with little current, therefore, it is suitable for beginner divers. Because the coral garden is shallow, it is also a very nice place for snorkeling.

Panorama Reef is one of the top dive sites in the Safaga area. The reef formation and location attract all the amazing large marine species that you would expect to see in the deep blue. Two different dives can be done here: north and south Plato. Both dives average 0 to 40m plus in depth.

Approx. 1 hour travel time. Steep sloping reef with best done as a drift dive as there is always a slight current with occasionally strong currents. Very good for one-way dives.

Approx. 90-minute boat ride but worth the trip. From 5 to over 40m deep everything available to see. This is a nice dive site for one way drift dives. Many blocks form a kind of fun labyrinth.
