
Blue Maomao Arch (Bay of Islands)

Small, sheltered bay with rocky reefs all around the around. The arch is quite shallow (less than 5 meters). Follow the bottom contour out to 30+ meters. Lots of boulders and nooks and crannies.
Generally kelp bottom with some areas of Kina barrens Schooling fish here, blue maomao, Stingrays and other typical New Zealand aquatic life.
