SS Umbria

The Blue Belt Wreck (Toyota Wreck), was a Saudi Arabian general cargo vessel with a length of 103 meters. Launched in 1950, she was sailing from Jeddah to Port Sudan with a cargo of Toyota vehicles and spare parts when she struck the reef in 1977. She now lies upside down on the slope between 21 - 90 meters.

Malathu Island has a 25m shelf, sloping down to 35m. Below that there are further shelves at 45 and 60m. There are steep drop offs on either side. It is located south of Malathu Island.

M.V. Glaros was a 60m diesel refrigerator vessel. It rests on its side at around 20m depth. It is known as ’Chicken Wreck’ due to its cargo of frozen chickens which can still be found inside the hold.It ran aground on the 20/11/76 and later sank on the 22/11/76. All crew were rescued.

Long Reef is named as its the longest reef in the Al Lith (Farasan Banks) area. Its a long reef section with 70-80m drop offs on the east and west side. It is 2km long North - South and 300m wide East - West. It is 55km from shore. It has a southern shelf going from around 35m to 25m with drop offs all around.

A reef island creating a living habitat for plenty of fish and corals. Easy entry from boat and always protected from rough waves and currents. Marine interaction in the area is very interesting as in the north of the island lives a school of Trevally that feeds on early morning. Excellent location for beginners

La Plague Resort house reef is an excellent location for diving and snorkeling alike. Located at the Jeddah Creek entrance, this site allows for a high flow of fish species going in and out of the creek. The site is well maintained and suitable for all diver levels.

A suitable dive site for beginners and advanced divers alike. The site is a coral island. A fire coral garden line is connected to the west side of the island.

Sheraton Beach Resort offers a shore dive typical of the Saudi Red Sea shoreline. This private resort offers beach access for expats and registered instructors

The Bahadur Resort House Reef is a great dive site for entry-level and intermediate level divers. The site is full of colorful coral and busy fish life.

Ann Ann is the larges shipwreck available for diving in Jeddah, the wreck is in a very good shape, the wreck is suitable for intermediate and expert divers, the wtreck is trapped between two reefs and reaches a depth of 30 meters and starts at around 14 meters.
