Velika Špilja

In March 1939, loaded with coal and bound for Venice, this ship’s rudder malfunctioned and the Vassilios subsequently sank. This 105m giant now rests on the sandy seabed on her port side; her hull, once full of coal, now gapes empty. This wreck lies from 20 to 55 meters deep.

Huge pinnacle located near Vassilios wreck. Starts with platoeu at 6m going with slopes to reach 20m then converts to vertical wall going to 50+ m.

Wall with several caverns. Deepest and biggest one starts at 28 meters and is around 70 meters long. Suitable for all levels from beginners and advanced divers.

A slope transforming into a wall at the depth of 10m (going down to 20-25m) with a few caverns at different depths, one of which resembles a three-aisled building.

An island you dive around. Wall is on the north side and goes from 5-35 meters. There is a cavern on 30 m. Suitable for beginners and advanced divers alike.

The 72-meters long steamship wreck Teti lays on the sandy bottom where it sunk in 1930. It is famous for its picturesque spare steering wheel, close to which moray eels and conger fish live.

A well-preserved wreck of a fishing boat lying on the sandy bottom next to the steep wall, in which there is a long, narrow cave at the depth of 6 m.

Through the northern part of the island of Vis leads a gravel-stony road, which directs to the abandoned village of Oključna, from where visitors can drive, using an off-road car, to a bay (one of the few in this part of the island) known under the same name.

A 50-meters long cave with an entrance (and exit) at the depth of 18 m and a thermocline and halocline inside. In the very end of the cave above halocline there is air bubble.

Not far west of the Punta Covika headland, there are two dive sites with a steeply sloping cliff. Both are located on the same stretch of the underwater rock, but offer different attractions. A shallower variant, up to 20-25 meters, is called Žali Potok. The dive is done with your right hand against the wall.
