This site never stops delivering. More advanced, a bit further away and close to the majestic Rendova island, this site impresses with pelagics, sharks, rays galore. When the show is on, hook your reef clip in and watch it all go by! Spectacular!

Pelagic action at this site is fantastic. Look out to see schools of Barracuda, Trevally and other Pelagics. Also look for Eagle Rays and sharks cruising by in the blue.

Douglas SBD Dauntless (Wreck)

This Douglas SBD-4 Dauntless dive bomber was hit by AA fire during a raid on Munda, on July 23 1943. Pilot Jim Dougherty put his plane down in Rendova Harbour, where she still rests at 13m. The site is located approximately 25 mins by boat.

Bell P39 Airacobra (Wreck)

This Bell P39Q Airacobra fighter plane was discovered in April 2011. Little is known about this mostly-intact wreck, but we believe it is one of two aircraft lost by the USAAF 68th Fighter Squadron during a raid on the Shortland Islands on 6 September, 1943. She lies in about 27m of water on a sandy bottom.

The picturesque Lumbaria Island is a popular confined water dive site. The shallow, clear, blue waters of Lumbaria are littered with metal from WWII and is home to many fish species as well. The site has some beautiful reefs, as well as a gentle, sloping, sandy bottom.

Secret Spot is a wall dive exposed to Blanche Channel and the deep blue waters of the Solomon Sea. A sensational, healthy reef dropping off to several hundred meters. Occasionally prone to a bit of current, making this an ideal slow drift dive with plenty of pelagic action. Located about 20 minutes from the dive shop.

A 25 minute boat ride from Munda, this Tombatuni is an island ringed by sheer drop offs of over 500 metres into the blue waters of Blanche Channel. This wall has masses of barrel sponges, beautiful soft corals and fans, populated by an array of colourful and hard-to-find critters.

Haipe Reef is a Dive Munda signature site, situated off the remote west coast of Renodova Island, approximately 30 minutes from the dive shop. Haipe is a sloping reef dive with huge, pristine hard and soft corals all along the wall.
