From here we enter the full protection zone of the Bergeggi MPA, a dive that develops to a maximum depth of 18 m with the wall on the left, we encounter a wall full of small burrows and a small inlet that often holds unexpected surprises.

The wreck of the “San Guglielmo“ is a luxurious 1st class passenger ship that launched in 1911. It travelled the Italy-America route. Used as a troop transport, it was sunk on 08.01.1918 by a German submarine. It now lies on a sandy bottom at 29 meters.

Defined as the “Queen of the Mediterranean“, the supertanker Haven is one of the largest wrecks in the entire sea. 334m long and 26m wide, she sank off the coast of Arenzano on 14 April 1991; the cause of her shipwreck was due to a very powerful and uncontrollable fire that developed on board.

The U-455, launched in 1941, was a German submarine built for service during World War II. It was discovered in very deep water, it is almost certain that she was sunk in 1944 southeast of Genoa by a mine. She is 67 meters in length and sits between 110 - 120 meters. The dive is considered extremely challenging.
