Porthkerris

Porthkerris is a popular location with an on site dive centre offering boat charters, air fills, shop and the Porthkerris Beach Cafe. Porthkerris is also a great location for snorkelers and freedivers. Dolphin, seals and at the right time of year whales and basking sharks have all bee seen in the bay.

Swanpool Beach

Swanpool beach is a gradual sandy slope with rocky/kelp reef to both the left and right. Max depth of 6m at high tide so ideal for entry level training.

Silver Steps

Another popular shore dive, Silver Steps is a sprawling rocky reef of gullies with sandy patches in between. Best dived at high tide when you can find up to 11m. A very scenic dive where you can also find the heavily salvaged remains of 5 German WW1 U-Boats including UB86 and UB112.

Little Trolvis is a flooded granite quarry, 16m max depth with shelves at 5m and 9m. Underwater features include the blacksmiths forge, an old wheel, cart, motorbike, pipework and more!

Carters Rock is only accessible by boat and is a shallow, rocky kelp reef with a maximum depth of 10m. Kelp runs along the bouldery slope to about 7m where it then turns into a white sandy bottom. Another good site for entry-level diver training.

Seal Cove

Seal Cove, also referred to as Chick Rock, is a site only accessible by boat. It is a haul out spot for grey seals and one of our most popular sites amongst divers. Please note that this site can only be dived at high tide to limit disturbance to the seals.

The Gazzle lies within the Newquay Bay & Gannel Marine Conservation Zone. It is shallow shore dive, max depth - 10m on a high tide. Gradually deepening sandy slope with kelpy reef and an abundance of marine life. Gazzle (North) - Kelp/rocky reef, caverns. Gazzle (South) - Kelp/rocky reef, caverns, old slipway.
