Lhohi Faru Thila

Huge schools of yellow back and neon fusiliers swarm around the thila together with schools of trevally and barracuda are also around, ready to hunt and feast on the smaller fish.

Schools of big eye travely, Napoleon Wrasse, lots of Morey eels and Lionfish. Eagle rays, white tip reef sharks, and nurse sharks are also seen.

At the outside reef of Fihalohi, a gentle slope goes down to 20 meters. In the sandy bottom there are stone corals and, within it, shelter loads of glassfish and cleaning shrimps.

Fihalhohi Beru is a beautiful thila on the outside reef. There are many schools of fish and often big fish if there is some current. Around the overhangs on the west side you might encounter nurse sharks. Taking a torch is recommended.

This is a small inside reef with a drop off on the west side. This site is full of holes and overhangs in between 5 - 12 meters. Sponges and black coral are abundant. Diving with a torch is highly recommended.

This is an outside reef generally dived on the westside with a lot of small stone corals. In between the north and south reef, there is a small Thila. It is quite exciting to cross the small channels.

This is a small inside reef, with a drop off on the west side and lots of overhangs. A torch is recommended. This site is full of hard corals on the top reef and is one of the best sites known for its coral.

This is a very good dive site for all kinds of divers, starting with a gentle slope in the sandy bottom and then moving on to the reef which is quite widespread, with a maximum depth of 17 meters. Since its also a nursery for juveniles, some trevallys coming in to feed.

Admiral 3 is on the North side of Rannalhi on the outside reef in the channel. It is a wall that starts at 7 meters, and the drop-off continues down to 28 meters. There is a good chance to see big fish in the channel entry.

Dongmas Giri is a small round reef in the middle of the atoll. A drop off from 1-12 meters on the south side is where there are small bomies covered with compact coral that shelter loads of glass fish. The west side has some beautiful overhangs. Diving with a torch is highly recommended.
