Tanote Bay

Tanote Bay is a beautiful dive site on the east coast of Koh Tao. The reef starts right at the shore and reaches over the whole bay. The edge of the reef is at a depth between 8 and 15 meters. Besides the Katamaran Wreck at 18m, Tanote Bay has different artificial reef constructions as well as small caverns!

King Kong

King Kong is a hidden bay, with a shallow coral reef close to Aow Leuk on the southeast coast of Koh Tao. The beach is secluded and calm, perfect for novice divers and snorkelers, who want to avoid the crowds.

Laem Thian Bay

The diving here is between 5m-24m. There is a small plateau and a little canyon. If you go down to the edge there can be quite a bit of current which normally flows north along the coast.

Aow Leuk

Located on South East of the island. This dive site has shallow water that is good for training dives and practice buoyancy. The dive site is sheltered, so you can dive in a calm and stable environment with no waves.

Great for beginners if you stay at around 5m - very beautiful if the sun is out! For advanced small groups, you can explore small caves down to 20m.

Hin Ngam

Hin Ngam is located on the southeast coast of Koh Tao, on the way into Aow Leuk which is a snorkeling and diving hotspot. The Him Ngam is sheltered and has a fringing reef running right around the bay. The dive site has a max depth of 12 meters with a sandy bottom making it ideal for beginner and student divers.

Mao Bay

Mao Bay can be explored to the south as well as towards north. Toward the north you will find an artificial reef at 15m deep. Besides this, large boulders are very characteristic for this area.

HTMS Hanhak Sattru 312, Wreck

Just on the mouth of the bay, this newly sunk wreck is 44.9M long, 7M wide, is a high speed attack ship. Belonging to the Gulf Patrol Fleet, Royal Thai Navy and built by Singapore Ship Building and Engineering Co., Ltd.

Shark Island ranges from a depth of 0 to 25 meters, making it one of Koh Tao’s most versatile dive sites. Currents can be strong around this site, but divers can usually take refuge in the lieu of the island and enjoy a relaxed dive.

Hin Wong Bay

This dive site is located in a bay on the east coast of Koh Tao. When the westerly winds are so strong that the dive sites on the west side of the island are not suitable for diving, the conditions here are calm.
