Hin Wong Pinnacle

Hin Wong Pinnacle ranges between 10 and 40 meters in depth, meaning divers of all experience levels can enjoy this site. Currents can be present, though rarely particularly strong.

Famed for it’s soft coral and nudibranch life, divers can also discover all local tropical reef fish life here, notably scribbled filefish, unicorn fish and seal faced pufferfish.

Sloping fringe reef. Lots of hard coral and coral bommies. Not many sandy areas for skills except in the far west side of site. Shallow snorkelling area . Lots of artificial reef cubes at about 14m.

A dive site for beginners as well for advanced! The north side of the site can have a northward current, so please plan your dive accordingly.

Mao Bay

Mao Bay can be explored to the south as well as towards north. Toward the north you will find an artificial reef at 15m deep. Besides this, large boulders are very characteristic for this area.

Great for beginners if you stay at around 5m - very beautiful if the sun is out! For advanced small groups, you can explore small caves down to 20m.

Laem Thian Bay

The diving here is between 5m-24m. There is a small plateau and a little canyon. If you go down to the edge there can be quite a bit of current which normally flows north along the coast.

Mango Bay

This is a great sight for training dives as there is a big sandy area ranging from 1m to 16m deep. Two different areas with huge artificial reef concrete cubes are good for buoyancy or technical training.

Tanote Bay

Tanote Bay is a beautiful dive site on the east coast of Koh Tao. The reef starts right at the shore and reaches over the whole bay. The edge of the reef is at a depth between 8 and 15 meters. Besides the Katamaran Wreck at 18m, Tanote Bay has different artificial reef constructions as well as small caverns!

White Rock, also known as White Rock and Black Rock, is located to the south of Nan Yuan Island, adjacent to Koh Tao. The whole site is a fairly large root, so no matter how many dives you do, you will never get bored of it, depending on the course you take, the depth and the type of life you observe. Beginners and seasoned divers alike should enjoy it.
