Epave du Gustavia (Wreck)
- 168
This hourglass freighter of 49 m by about 7.50 m was launched in 1953 under the name of GEOCEANIQUE and renamed GUSTAVIA in 1982. After a thorough clean-up, she was sunk as an artificial reef in 1991 about 1 mile from the Malendure rock at Bouillante, the wreck lies upright on a sand bottom at 40 m.
It is a wreck very rich in sponges and multicolored fish. The many barracudas that inhabit this wreck make it a particularly pleasant dive.
