2410 Logged Dives

Canyon, Dahab

Approx. 20 min drive in northern direction. Entrance over flat sand lagoon. After approx. 16 min dive time you reach a crevice in the seabed. Large entry opening at 18m depth, sandy bottom in the canyon at 30m, which drops down to the open sea with the seabed at 50m.

Octopus, anemone fish, moray eels, boxfish and macro. A giant moray eel lives in the canyon, but it often hides. A shoal of hatchet-bellied fish in the upper part.
