2nd Limanaki

This is the most famous dive sport for shore diving in Athens. Depths range from 2 to 39 meters, and is home to the famous “pigadi,“ a hole ranging from 7 -30 meters. Strong currents can occur at the bottom so be prepared.

Pothitos Reef (xera)

A reef close to shore but only boat accessed. Starts from 3m depth and goes down to more than 40m. Excellent wall formation, usually no currents, but some time you may experience a light one. Great visibility.

Pothitos Island is famous for 3-4 different dives for all levels, from beginner to expert. Marine life is rich and visibility is excellent. Depths range from 3 to 50 meters with small surprises hidden in the rocks.

Krabo Beach

Ideal for training with an easy sandy beach entry. Parking is allowed from autumn till spring, but summer is crowded. Bottom is sandy with poseidonia and sand. Great for in dives. Visibility is very good.

A slow slope on the north part of Arsida island. Main attraction is the pottery scattered around from depths of 30 till the surface. All diving certification levels will enjoy this dive site.

One of the most interesting dive spots in the Saronic Gulf. A great dive for all levels of certified divers. Visibility is excellent and depths reach more than 50m.

Excellent wall dive starting at 7 meters and ending at more than 55 meters. Very good visibility and protected from northern winds. Marine life is also intresting here.

Katafygi Cove

The ideal shallow protected little bay for training, introductory dives. Protected from prevailing north winds. No currents. Almost always good visibility. Maximum depth 18 meters.

A very interesting shore dive, next to a fish farm. Medium visibility, sometimes medium strong current, depth up to 45m.Tricky entry and exit cause of sharp rocks around.

Apsida Patroklou (Αψίδα Πατρόκλου)

Protected by south winds this is an easy dive site. It starts by going through a big arch at 8m of depth. Then you head west following the rock formations. Maximum depth well beyond 40m, but you can turn around at any depth.
