The Tiputa pass originally known as the Hiria pass. It separates Avatoru from the village of Tiputa on Rangiroa atoll. With a length of 900 m and a width of 400 m, it is between 14 and 55 m deep. The currents can be very strong and changeable. The presence of a local guide is therefore recommended.

The Motu Nuhi Nuhi is a small coral islet located in the lagoon in the axis of the Tiputa pass. This site is sheltered from currents and shallow, which is ideal for beginners, training or rehabilitation dives.

Initially this dive site is for beginners and first-dive from the boat at anchor. On a sandy seabed dotted with coral patates, manta rays come to be deparasitised, much to your delight.

Small tikehau pass, max depth 30 meters, easy dive in incoming current drift dive, all the drift is done in less than 10 m of bottom very nice dive for beginners and experts.

Start the dive on the reef, descent along the oceanic drop-off, to arrive on a plateau at 20m. Explore the plateau and dive back to the channel to return to the boat.(depth 6 to 50 meters). Very pretty reef, school of fish of all kinds.

Start is from a coral reef plateau in 5 to 15 m depth, leading to a gently sloping oceanic drop off, going along the reef and entering the channel/pass through its angle.

When leaving the Garuae channel/pass on the right, a magnificent reef plateau precedes the drop off in a gentle slope to 30 meters. The dive goes along the wall and ends in the coral garden of the reef plateau. This dive is accessible to all levels.

This is a drift diving into the Fakarava north channel during incoming current only. Starting into the blue, a stop on the edge of the drop off is possible, and then we drift into the channel toward the lagoon, hiding from the current into the life rich “ali baba canyon.“

This site is located inside the lagoon, it is not very deep which is ideal for beginners or training dives. It is also the ideal place for photographers, who like brightness (white sand) and calm conditions (sheltered from the current).

The rose-shaped corals become visible from a depth of about thirty meters and extend over a vast area as far as the eye can see. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The corals are remarkably beautiful, providing a very pleasant experience as you explore this immense garden that seems to stretch to infinity.
