Tailor Made

Only a little diving is done at Tailor Made which you can see! The reef on which the wall starts at 9 meters and extends to 40 meters is largely unspoilt. Please note the long bumpy road to get there and there is no coverage.

Carel’s Vision (8)

This site is named after Carel Steensma, a resistance hero from the Second World War. He had a role in the establishment of the Washington Slagbaai Park.

It is a less visited dive site, so as a diver you can really enjoy the pristine coral. You will regularly find sharks at the beginning of the dropoff.

Playa Frans is a fishing beach with some houses. A beautiful sloping reef with lots of life and also fun for snorkeling due to the large shallow areas.

Boca Slagbaai (6)

Boca Slagbaai is a historic point where non-divers can also enjoy the bay, beach and snorkeling. Underwater you will find two old cannons and other objects.

Karpata (9)

Many consider Karpata one of the best dive sites in Bonaire. It is famous for its spectacular visibility and beautiful topography. The reef is covered in healthy soft and hard corals and the reef has beautiful shaping to it. A must dive while in Bonaire!

Wayaka (5)

Wayaka, especially after a rainy period, can only be reached with a 4WD via the Washington Slagbaai National Park. There is little diving here, which means that the site is unspoilt.

Rappel (11)

In the past you could descend here using a rope, which is why the site still owes its name. Nowadays you can only go boat diving at this site. The reef has a beautiful shape and the coral is breathtaking.

Bisé Morto (4)

This reef starts shallow and from about 10 meters there is a dropoff to a sandy bottom. It is a site that is accessible from the shore or boat, but diving is usually done by boat.

Playa Funchi is a reef where there can be strong currents. In the water it is a bit of a swim from the beach. You can recognize remains of the foundation of an old plantation.
