Jardines de la Reina
- 2027
A favorite spearfishing and scuba diving spot for Fidel Castro, he had no desire to see it get fished out so fishing was discouraged even before the area was officially a marine preserve. It’s situated 60 miles south of Cuba’s central coast near the village of Jucaro and VERY remote.
Unique to this area is the chance to encounter crocodiles swimming amongst the mangrove forests. You’ll also see more Caribbean fish life species than anywhere else!
