Nestled in a cluster of granite islands in the southern part of Banderas Bay, this dynamic underwater world is full of places to explore like El Bajo and Devil’s Canyon. There’s lots of marine life to explore as well.

This is the actual location of what is known as Ronnies Cove on the SSI dive site for the lake. Average depth 40 ft. Water temp requires 7mm for deeper dives as thermocline around 40ft.

Manantial La Media Luna

La Media Luna is a naturally occurring thermal spring located right in the heart of Mexico near San Luis Potosi. The water is fairly clear, always calm, and warm, making this an excellent site for newer divers. Because it is a thermal spring, the water is warm enough that most divers do not wear a wetsuit.

With walls up to 20 meters deep, this is ideal for those who like to dive with a light current, when the visibility is good you’ll discover the nice canyon-like mountains. For divers with little experience they can stay in shallow depths. Also ideal for dives from Open Water Course 3 and 4.

Due to its sheltered location, “El Rincón” is an ideal place for snorkelling, divers for shallow dives and for beginners and various diving specialty courses. The shallow diving depth of up to 12m has plenty of space for a variety of marine flora and fauna. The main attraction are the artificial reefs.
