Southwest of the island along the beach road of San Juan in Siquijor you will find a cemetery. Maite in the Visayan dialect means cemetery, lending this dive site its name.

Mandarin fish are abundant at Maite making it the most popular night dive spot at Siquijor. Known for muck diving, one can spot nudibranch, pipefish, frogfish, seamoths, and more.
