Diving in Vaavuu Atoll

Vaavu is the easternmost atoll of the Maldives and has diving areas for all levels of divers. It is another governmentally protected area so you will see unspoiled coral reefs and an abundance of marine life. Alimatha Island is the best place to see reefs here as they have some of the best around. There is an enormous variety of beautiful reef fish and it is one of the best places in the Maldives for night dives to see hunting octupus. Vattaru Reef and Miyaru Kandu are two other great diving locations that cater to beginner and advanced divers respectively.
