Diving in Southern South Malé

Like its more northern counterpart, the southern piece of the South Male dive area has fast current too and is for advanced and experienced divers. The most popular site here is Cocoa Thila, which is considered one of the top diving locations in the country. Where you would find shelter in caves further north, here you will encounter overhangs and ravines to explore. All types of fish and sea life take shelter here as well and you can see a variety of Napoleon fish, surgeonfish and black snappers too.
