Diving in Komodo

Its name may be synonymous with the dinosaur-like Komodo dragon, but Komodo National Park also promises spectacular marine diversity. The park itself is made up of a host of different islands offering different marine environments to explore. Visibility is clear, there are great liveaboard options for the best experience and the water are populated with everything from manta and eagle rays to huge tuna and delicate angelfish. At some dive sites you will also see Hawksbill turtles and reef sharks as well as snappers, patterned sweetlips and bamboo sharks as well as relaxed shallow dive sites with multi-colored coral.
