Diving in Vinkeveense Plassen

Vinkeveense Plassen or, Lakes of Vinkeveen is a great lake for diving that lies in Utrecht, less than 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Amsterdam. Some of the dive sites in these lakes are very deep, reaching depth up to 55 meters (180 feet). There are plenty of diving schools in the area and the clear and calm water lends itself to divers of all skill levels being able to dive and enjoy the wide variety of sea life that lives beneath the surface of these lakes.
