The official language of Egypt is Arabic, while English and French are also prevalent. The Arab Republic of Egypt is a country that sits in the Northeast corner of Africa on the Mediterranean Sea to its north and the Red Sea to its east. It covers an area of around 1 million square kilometers (390,121 square miles) and has a population of 95 million people, making it the most populated country in the region, the third most populated in Africa, and the 15th biggest country in the world.
